Dana T. Gardner is a Licensed and Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist in the State of Florid and a native of Jacksonville, Florida. She graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Human Nutrition and then matriculated to Florida State University where she earned a Master’s of Science degree in Nutritional Sciences. After graduation, Dana returned to Jacksonville to begin her career as a clinical dietitian with one of Jacksonville’s local hospitals where she worked with a range of disease processes, providing patients with nutritional recommendations to improve outcomes. Currently working in the community, Dana is focused on eliminating food deserts, ensuring the elderly have access to affordable goods and teaching the community how to enjoy food while still being mindful of their total health – mental, spiritual and physical.
